Laura started her real estate career in 1999 after graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington and receiving her law degree from the Texas A&M University School of Law. Although she is not a practicing attorney, her knowledge of the law is a huge asset to her clients. She holds designations of Certified Residential Specialist, Accredited Buyer’s Representative and is a Broker. She is a member of First United Methodist Church and both she and Jeremy are members of The Fort Worth Club and the Entrepreneurs’ Organization. They have one daughter, Maggie, who attends Colorado State University.
Jeremy drives value for clients by utilizing his education, experience, analytical mind and unorthodox style of thinking. He was a Chancellor Scholar at TCU for his undergraduate degree in Foreign Policy and obtained his MBA from TCU. Jeremy, a Marine, serves on several boards and committees including at TCU and the Fort Worth Club. He founded Cowtown Warriors in 2013, an organization that gives 100% of money raised to fellow wounded, ill and injured veterans. Members of the Spann Group actively support this worthwhile organization.
Carol Van Hook, Laura’s mother, has over forty-five years of experience and was instrumental in the homestead sales phases in the Mira Vista community. She purchased a boutique real estate firm in 2008 and sold it in 2015 to Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty. She has been in various leadership roles including vice-president of the Greater Fort Worth Board of Realtors in 2012 and president in 2014. She is a member of First United Methodist Church and a supporter of the YWCA, serving in leadership positions at both. She and her husband, James, married since 1963 are members of the Colonial Country Club. They also have a son, Lt. Col. John Van Hook, who is on active duty in the United States Army. Her three grandchildren are the light of her life.
Michelle Stum grew up in West Texas, has a passion for helping others and is committed to the best interests of her clients. Her love for real estate and helping others achieve their dreams of a new home began several years ago when she met her husband, Dustin Stum, a successful general contractor. They have one son. She graduated from TCU (2009) with a B.S. in Advertising and Marketing. Her first job took her to New York City as the Associate Director for Project Rebirth, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting victims and first responders of catastrophic events such as 9/11. She is a volunteer at Be My Eyes to help the blind, a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Alumni and the TCU Alumni Association.
Lyn Robinson, the team’s licensed assistant, grew up in a military family living all over the globe and settling in Fort Worth in 1989. She started her real estate career in 2016 which included a position with the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors before joining the Spann Group. She has over eighteen years of sales and management experience working for Estee Lauder. Hard work, dedication and providing superior customer service are some of Lyn’s core values. While living in Iwakuni, Japan, Lyn graduated from the University of Maryland Global Campus with a Bachelor Degree in Marketing in 2005. Lyn has one daughter, Katelyn.
